Accreditation and Memberships

The Associate Degree Nursing program is approved by the Ohio Board of Nursing located at 17 S. High Street, Suite 660, Columbus, Ohio 43215-3466 (614) 466-3947. Faculty belong to the National League for Nursing (NLN) which helps advance excellence in nursing education. The Dental Assisting Certificate Program is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation and has been granted the accreditation status of Accredited. The Commission is a specialized accrediting body recognized by the United States Department of Education. The Emergency Medical Responder, Emergency Medical Technician, Advanced Emergency Medical Technician and Paramedic courses are approved by the Ohio Department of Public Safety Services Division of EMS; program number 316. The Health Information Management Associate Degree program is accredited by The Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM). CAHIIM is an accrediting organization which has independent authority in all actions pertaining to accreditation of educational programs in health informatics and health information management. The Respiratory Therapy Program, CoARC Program #200326, Associate of Applied Science, is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (www.caahep.org), on recommendation of the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care      (CoARC) (www.coarc.com). The College is a member of the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admission Officers (AACRAO) and has been a member of the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) since November 1971.

The Veterinary Technician Program will be started in Fall 2021 semester.  We will be seeking accreditation from the AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association).  Students who enter the program at this time should realize the program is in candidacy until approval is granted by the AVMA.  Accreditation may be granted in the next academic year.
